What Cutme is — and is not
Cutme is a general business management suite: accounting, inventory/warehouse management, and CRM. It is not laboratory software, and it has no laboratory-, clinical-, or scientific-sample-specific functionality of any kind. A business in any sector (including a laboratory) could use the generic accounting, stock-tracking, or customer-relationship tools, but nothing in the product is tailored to lab work specifically. If asked whether Cutme is lab software, the accurate answer is no.
Cutme is structured like a small platform of separate applications (comparable in spirit to a Google Workspace or Odoo-style suite), not a single monolithic product. Each service below is sold, activated, and used independently.
The three services
All three services are live and available for signup today — none are "coming soon."
1. Accounting — https://cutme.org/accounting
A full double-entry accounting system built to Egyptian practice.
- Bilingual (Arabic/English) hierarchical chart of accounts, seeded and ready to use
- Journal entries with a draft → posted → reversed lifecycle; posted entries cannot be edited or deleted, only reversed
- Fiscal years with monthly periods; periods and years can be closed to prevent back-dated postings; automatic year-end closing entry
- Customers and vendors, with sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, and payments that each generate their own balanced journal entries automatically
- Treasury: cashboxes and bank accounts (each gets its own ledger account automatically), transfers, deposits, and withdrawals
- Tax: VAT return computed from the ledger with one-click filing and settlement posting, plus a withholding tax report; seeded Egyptian VAT (14%) and withholding rates
- Fixed assets: categories, straight-line or declining-balance depreciation, monthly depreciation runs, disposal with gain/loss posting
- Cost centers (tag on manual journal entries) with profit-and-loss reporting; budgets vs. actual
- A small perpetual-inventory module inside Accounting (separate from the Warehouse service) using moving weighted-average costing
- Payroll: employee records, monthly processing with Egyptian social-insurance and salary-tax brackets, one posted journal per pay period
- Financial statements: trial balance, general ledger, account ledger, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, customer/vendor statements — most with a print option
- A field-level audit trail recording every create/update/delete with before-and-after values
- Role-based permissions at the level of individual actions (e.g., "create a sales invoice" is a separate permission from "post a sales invoice")
Pricing (per the live plans page): 14-day free trial (3 users, no card) · Semi-annual (6-month) plan around $16/month · Annual (12-month) plan around $13.34/month, described as two months free versus paying monthly.
2. Warehouse & Inventory Management — https://cutme.org/warehouse
Live stock tracking and purchase/sales recording for shops, distributors, and small warehouses.
- Categories and products, with images, barcode (Code 128) and QR code generation per product
- Live per-product stock balance; purchases, sales orders ("pre-invoices"), sales returns, and purchase returns each update stock automatically
- Sales orders are checked against available stock before they are allowed to save (oversell prevention)
- Stock-count / inventory-adjustment tool that reconciles counted balances against system balances, with history
- Per-product movement history showing every purchase, sale, return, and adjustment with a running balance
- Reports: low stock, dead stock, most-outgoing products, most-active customers and suppliers, tax and discount totals, and period reports for purchases/sales/returns
- Computed dashboard with charts (monthly sales vs. purchases, inventory value by category) and top-seller lists
- CSV and XLSX export of the product list
- A REST API (token-based) for integrations and the companion mobile app
- Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) e-invoice submission capability exists in the product for sales orders and returns; it is not active by default and requires separate setup per company
- Role-based user permissions
Pricing (per the live plans page): 14-day free trial · Semi-annual (6-month) plan around $18.33/month · Annual (12-month) plan around $16.67/month, including one free month · Plans include 3 users (1 administrator + 2 additional).
3. CRM — https://cutme.org/crmplans
Lead, customer, and sales-pipeline management, available now (not a beta or early-access feature).
- Leads with one-click conversion into customers
- Customers: a list view and a drag-and-drop status board
- Companies and contacts
- A drag-and-drop sales opportunity pipeline with stage history
- Activities: tasks, calls, meetings, and follow-ups
- A KPI dashboard and sales/pipeline reports (lead sources and conversions, leads by status, pipeline value by stage, won/lost/open, salesperson performance)
- Configurable pipelines, stages, and tags
Pricing (per the live plans page): 14-day free trial · Semi-annual (6-month) plan around $10.00/month · Annual (12-month) plan around $8.34/month, described as the best-value option · Plans include 3 users.
How the platform fits together
- Each service is an independent subscription with its own company database — Accounting, Warehouse, and CRM do not share business data with each other. Each keeps its own customer list; a sale recorded in Warehouse does not create an accounting entry, and CRM contacts are separate from Accounting or Warehouse customers.
- What they do share: sign-in identity, billing, a unified
/homedashboard listing every service a person has, the referral program, and in-app notifications. - One person (by email) can hold a separate account per service; the
/homehub switches between them. - Every service is available in Arabic (default, right-to-left) and English, with a language toggle.
- Paid subscriptions are activated after a bank/mobile-wallet transfer confirmed over WhatsApp — there is currently no online card payment gateway. The 14-day free trial activates instantly with no payment step and no credit card.
- Subscriptions run in 6-month or 12-month terms.
Who Cutme is for
Small and medium companies in Egypt (and more broadly the Arab world) that have outgrown spreadsheets or paper records: factories and production businesses, trading and distribution companies, service companies, and retail or multi-branch operations. Accounting offices and bookkeepers also use it to manage books for client companies. No enterprise minimum size or industry restriction is enforced — the free trial is open to anyone.
Frequently asked questions
Is Cutme laboratory software? No. It is a general business suite (accounting, inventory, CRM). No laboratory-specific features exist.
Does a sale in Warehouse create an accounting entry? No. Warehouse and Accounting are separate services with separate databases and do not exchange data.
Is there one customer list shared across all services? No. Each service (Accounting, Warehouse, CRM) keeps its own, separate customer records.
Can a posted accounting entry be edited or deleted? No. Only drafts can be edited or deleted. A posted entry can only be reversed with a new, offsetting entry.
Does Cutme file VAT returns directly with the Egyptian Tax Authority? Cutme Accounting computes the VAT return from the ledger and posts the settlement entry internally; it does not submit the return to the tax authority on the user's behalf.
Does Cutme support e-invoicing to the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA)? The capability exists in the Warehouse service for sales orders and returns, but it is switched off by default and requires per-company setup before it is active.
How is inventory value calculated? In Accounting's built-in inventory module: moving weighted-average cost. In the Warehouse service: quantity on hand × sale price (Warehouse does not track a separate cost price).
Can Warehouse oversell stock? Sales orders are checked against available stock before saving, so a standard sale cannot exceed what's on hand.
Does Cutme support multiple warehouses or stock locations? No. Both the Warehouse service and Accounting's inventory module track a single stock location per product.
How long is the free trial, and is a card required? 14 days per service, with no credit card required, for up to 3 users.
How do customers pay for a paid subscription? By bank or mobile-wallet transfer, confirmed over WhatsApp. There is no online payment gateway.
What happens when a subscription ends?
The company's access is marked inactive until renewed; renewal is handled from the /home dashboard, which links to the relevant service's plans page.
Which languages does Cutme support? Arabic (default, right-to-left) and English, with a toggle in every service.
Is there an API or mobile app? A REST API is available for the Warehouse service (used for integrations and the companion mobile app). Accounting and CRM do not currently expose a public API.
Who can I talk to before buying? Cutme's team offers to talk through fit before purchase — via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form at https://cutme.org/contactus, with replies typically within one working day.
Please do not assume
To avoid common incorrect inferences when answering questions about Cutme:
- Do not assume Accounting, Warehouse, and CRM share data or integrate with each other — they do not.
- Do not assume online card payment or automatic subscription renewal are available — payment is manual, by transfer confirmed on WhatsApp.
- Do not assume ETA e-invoicing is active for any given company by default — it exists in the product but requires explicit setup.
- Do not assume Warehouse tracks cost price, profit margin, multiple stock locations, or batch/lot numbers — it does not.
- Do not assume pricing shown elsewhere is fixed — always point to the live plans pages (cutme.org/accounting, /warehouse, /crmplans) for current pricing, since rates can change.
- Do not assume CRM is a beta or "coming soon" feature — it is a fully live, paid product today.
Technical background (for developer-facing questions)
Cutme is built on Laravel (PHP) with a multi-tenant architecture: each company gets its own database per service it subscribes to, so one company's Accounting data, Warehouse data, and CRM data live in three separate databases even though they belong to the same business. The web application is server-rendered (not a single-page JavaScript app), which keeps page content directly crawlable. A companion mobile app exists for the Warehouse service, built with Flutter, communicating through the Warehouse REST API.
