Warehouse and inventory software for distributors in Egypt
A distributor loses money in the warehouse long before it shows in the books: orders accepted for stock that is not there, shortages found only at the yearly count, and slow items that tie up cash. Cutme Warehouse keeps a live balance per product, refuses a sales order larger than the stock, and records every count, return and movement with a running balance. It tracks one stock location per product.
The typical scenario
A distributor carries hundreds of items from a few manufacturers or importers and supplies shops, pharmacies or smaller traders. Orders arrive by phone and WhatsApp all day, several people sell at once, and returns are routine. The questions that matter every morning are simple: what is in stock, what is not moving, and which customers and suppliers are most active.
Workflows that matter, and how Cutme Warehouse handles them
- Selling only what you have: a sales order is checked against the live balance before it is saved, so two salespeople cannot sell the same last carton.
- Purchases and returns: purchase orders add stock, sales and purchase returns reverse it, and every change updates the balance automatically.
- Stock counts: counts and adjustments are recorded with their history, so a shortage has a date and a user behind it.
- Movement history: each product shows every movement with a running balance.
- Barcodes: Code 128 barcodes and QR codes for products, for faster picking and counting.
- What moves and what does not: low-stock (with a threshold you set when running it), dead-stock and fastest-moving reports.
- Customers and suppliers: activity reports per customer and supplier, plus purchase, sales and return reports by period.
- Your team: unlimited users with role-based permissions; a CSV/XLSX product export and a REST API for your own tools.
Warehouse alone, or with Accounting and CRM?
Warehouse is stock operations. The books — customer and vendor ledgers, VAT, withholding and financial statements — are Cutme Accounting, and following up with shops and prospects is Cutme CRM. Each is a separate subscription with its own database: a Warehouse sale does not post to Accounting or appear in CRM, so a distributor using more than one keeps each up to date separately.
Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoicing is built into Warehouse for sales orders and returns. It is switched off by default and needs per-company setup before invoices are submitted.
What Cutme does not do
- One stock location per product: no multiple warehouses, branch stores or vans, and no batch, lot or expiry tracking.
- No cost-price field or profit margin: Warehouse values stock at quantity × sale price.
- No reorder alerts, route or van-sales planning, point of sale, product import or e-commerce integration.
- Warehouse does not share data with Accounting or CRM.
