Use the stock reports
Low stock, fastest-moving and dead stock, active customers and suppliers.
The Reports menu answers the everyday stock questions: what is running low, what sells fastest, what does not move, and who your most active customers and suppliers are. Most reports ask for a threshold or a date range first, so you decide what counts as low or slow for your business.
Steps
- Reports → Safty Stock: enter a quantity to list every product at or below it.
- Reports → Most Outgoing and Dead Stock: what sells fastest and what does not move.
- Reports → Most active customers / suppliers, plus purchase, sales and return reports by period.
- Each product's page shows its movement history with a running balance.
Good to know
- Most Outgoing lists products whose total sold quantity is at or above the number you enter, highest first. Dead Stock lists products sold less than the quantity you enter in the dates you choose.
- The Tax, Discounts and Highest discounts reports summarise tax and discounts on sales for a period.
- Period reports for purchases, orders and returns have a Print button; Manage Products can be exported to CSV or XLSX.
Common questions
Does Cutme alert me when stock is low?
Cutme does not send low-stock alerts. Run the Safty Stock report with your reorder level, for example weekly, and create purchases for the products it lists.
How is the stock value on the dashboard calculated?
The dashboard values stock at quantity × sale price for each product. It is a selling-price value, not a cost value.
