Set up Cutme CRM
Pipeline stages, lost reasons, users and importing your leads.
A new CRM starts with a ready sales pipeline: New (10%), Contacted (20%), Qualified (40%), Proposal (60%), Negotiation (80%), Won and Lost. You can use it as it is or adjust the stages, then bring in your team and your existing leads.
Steps
- Configuration → Settings: review the pipeline stages and lost reasons and adjust them to how you sell.
- Configuration → Users & Roles: add your sales team.
- Leads → Import leads: upload a CSV file (a sample file is provided). Duplicates can be skipped.
- Add existing customers, companies and contacts from the Sales menu.
Good to know
- There are three roles: Manager (everything, including configuration and deleting), Employee (create and edit, but no deleting or configuration) and Viewer (read-only).
- Settings also controls what employees see: all records, only their team's and unassigned records, or only their own and unassigned records.
- The import accepts a CSV or TXT file up to 5 MB and 5,000 rows. Each row needs at least a name, an email or a company.
- Configuration also has a web form: copy its link to your website so enquiries arrive as new leads with the source "Website".
Common questions
Which duplicates does "skip duplicates" skip?
Rows whose email already belongs to an open lead are skipped. Clear the option if you want to import every row anyway.
Can I have more than one pipeline?
Yes. Managers can add pipelines and stages, set each stage's probability and mark which stages count as won or lost. A stage that still has opportunities cannot be deleted until they are moved.
Is CRM connected to Accounting or Warehouse?
No. CRM has its own database and shares only sign-in and billing with the other systems. Quotations in CRM are not linked to Warehouse products or stock.
