Frequently asked questions

What Cutme is, what it covers, how it is priced, and how your data is kept separate. If your question is not here, the team answers directly on WhatsApp.

What is Cutme?

Cutme is a cloud business management platform for companies in Egypt and the Arab world, built by AppsRobo in Cairo. It provides four separate browser-based systems — accounting and financial management, warehouse and inventory control, CRM for leads, customers and sales, and HR for employee records — with a full Arabic, right-to-left interface and nothing to install. For companies that want sales, purchasing, stock and accounting in one company database, Cutme also offers Cutme ERP, an integrated system with its own subscription.

Who operates Cutme, and is it a registered company?

Cutme is developed and operated by AppsRobo LLC, a company registered in Egypt under trade register 190768 and tax card 696-544-873, founded in 2016. Its office is in Nasr City, Cairo, and the team that builds the software also answers support by WhatsApp and phone. The registration details are published on the About page so you can check them before you subscribe.

Who is Cutme for?

Cutme is built for small and mid-sized companies, factories, trading and distribution businesses, and service organisations that have outgrown spreadsheets. It suits any business that needs its financial records, stock and reporting kept in one system that several people use at once, each with their own permissions.

Are the four Cutme systems connected to each other?

The four Cutme systems — Accounting, Warehouse, CRM and HR — are separate subscriptions, each with its own database for your company. They share one sign-in, billing and the Cutme dashboard, but not business data: a Warehouse sale does not create an Accounting journal entry, and customer lists are kept separately. You subscribe only to the systems you need. A company that wants sales, purchasing, stock and accounting in one shared database can choose Cutme ERP instead, a separate subscription in which every document posts its own journal entry.

Do I need to install anything?

Cutme needs no installation: it runs entirely in a web browser, so there is no server to buy and no local backups to manage. Your team signs in from any computer with an internet connection, and everyone sees the same live data rather than separate copies of a file.

Is Cutme available in Arabic?

Cutme is fully available in Arabic with a proper right-to-left layout, and English is available on the same account. Users switch language individually, so an Arabic-speaking accountant and an English-speaking manager can work in the same company file at the same time.

How much does Cutme cost?

Cutme is sold as a subscription per system, with a six-month and a twelve-month plan; the twelve-month plan carries a lower monthly rate. Prices are shown on each solution page and billed in Egyptian pounds (EGP). Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial that needs no card. On the 12-month plan, the monthly price is about 371 EGP for HR, 464 EGP for CRM, 743 EGP for Accounting and 928 EGP for Warehouse.

Is there a free trial?

Every Cutme system includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features and unlimited users. No credit card is required to start, and the trial does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. If you buy a plan before the trial ends, the paid term starts on the day the trial ends, so no trial days are lost.

Can more than one person use the same account?

Cutme is multi-user, so several people can share one company account. You create a user for each member of staff and assign a role that controls what they can open and change, so a data-entry clerk, an accountant and an owner each see their own part of the system. Actions are recorded against the user who performed them.

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

Each subscribing company gets its own separate database rather than sharing tables with other customers, so one company can never read another company's records. Access inside your own company is controlled by the roles and permissions you assign, and the system keeps an audit trail of changes.

How do I get support?

Support is provided directly by the team in Cairo over WhatsApp, phone and email, in Arabic or English. Contact details are on the Contact page and the WhatsApp number is reachable from every page of the site. Questions about setup, chart of accounts structure and first data entry are all covered.

Can I use Cutme on my phone?

Cutme works on a phone: Accounting, Warehouse, CRM and HR all run in the browser and adapt to phone screens, so there is nothing to install. You open cutme.org on your phone and sign in with the same account you use on a computer. Cutme Warehouse also has a companion mobile app; Accounting, CRM and HR have no separate app.

What should you know about Cutme Accounting Software?

Double-entry accounting built to Egyptian practice

What is accounting software?

Accounting software is a system that records every financial transaction in a business by double entry, then produces the ledgers, tax figures and financial statements from those entries automatically. It replaces manual books and spreadsheets, so the trial balance, income statement and balance sheet all derive from the same underlying data.

What can Cutme Accounting do?

Cutme Accounting maintains a chart of accounts and journal entries, customer and supplier invoices, receipts and payments, cash boxes and bank accounts, VAT and withholding tax, fixed assets and depreciation, budgets, cost centres, payroll and inventory valuation. From those records it produces the trial balance, general ledger, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.

Does Cutme Accounting handle Egyptian VAT?

Cutme Accounting handles Egyptian VAT: you define your own tax rates, apply them on customer and supplier invoices, and the system prepares a VAT return for the period showing output tax, input tax and the net amount due. Filed returns are kept in a list with their payment status, and withholding tax is tracked separately.

Which financial statements does Cutme Accounting produce?

Cutme Accounting produces the trial balance, the general ledger and per-account ledgers, the income statement, the balance sheet, the cash flow statement, and customer and supplier statements of account. Each is generated from posted journal entries for the period you choose, so the figures always reconcile back to source documents.

Can Cutme Accounting run payroll?

Cutme Accounting runs payroll: you record employees and their pay details, open a payroll period, process it, and post the result to the general ledger as a journal entry. That keeps salary cost in the same books as everything else, so it appears in the income statement and cost centre reports without separate re-entry.

Does Cutme Accounting track stock as well?

Cutme Accounting tracks stock through a built-in inventory module: items, stock movements and an inventory valuation report using moving weighted-average cost, integrated with the ledger so the value of stock on hand is reflected in your accounts. Companies that need deeper operational stock control — reorder needs, detailed item movement — use the Warehouse system alongside it.

Can I close a financial period in Cutme Accounting?

Cutme Accounting lets you close a financial period: you define fiscal years and their periods, set the current one, and close a period once its entries are final so nothing can be posted into it afterwards. A closed period can be reopened by an authorised user, and closing the year rolls the balances forward.

Can Cutme Accounting show profitability by department or project?

Cutme Accounting shows profitability by department or project through cost centres. You define a cost centre for each branch, department, project or product line, tag entries to it, and run the cost centre report to see what each one earned and consumed. Budgets can be set per account so you can compare planned figures against actual results.

Do I need to be an accountant to use Cutme Accounting?

Cutme Accounting needs no accounting knowledge for day-to-day work: issuing invoices, recording receipts and payments and entering stock movements are form-based, because the system generates the double-entry postings. Setting up the chart of accounts and the opening balances is the part where an accountant should be involved, and the Cutme team helps with that setup.

Does Cutme Accounting support Egyptian e-invoicing (ETA)?

Cutme Accounting sends posted sales invoices to the Egyptian Tax Authority as e-invoices, issues credit notes against them, and tracks each document's ETA status and official PDF. It is switched off by default: each company sets it up with its own ETA credentials, item codes and e-seal. The monthly VAT return itself is still filed by the company on the ETA portal.

How much does Cutme Accounting cost?

Cutme Accounting is sold as its own subscription, with a 6-month and a 12-month plan; the 12-month plan has the lower monthly price. Both plans include every Accounting feature and unlimited users, and both start with a 14-day free trial that needs no card. Current prices are listed on the Cutme Accounting page in Egyptian pounds, converted from the published US-dollar price at the current exchange rate. At today's exchange rate, the 12-month plan works out to about 743 EGP a month.

What should you know about Cutme Warehouse & Inventory?

Know exactly what you hold, and what it is worth

What does Cutme Warehouse do?

Cutme Warehouse tracks what your company holds in stock and what moves in and out of it. It records purchases from suppliers, sales to customers, returns and stock adjustments, keeps a live balance for every item, and lists the items running low in a low-stock report, so buying decisions rest on current figures rather than a last-known count.

Is Cutme Warehouse separate from Cutme Accounting?

Cutme Warehouse and Cutme Accounting are separate subscriptions with separate databases, and either can be used on its own. Accounting includes its own inventory valuation for companies whose stock needs are straightforward; Warehouse is the choice when stock control itself is the operational problem — many items, frequent movement, and buying decisions driven by stock levels.

Can Cutme Warehouse stop me selling stock I do not have?

Cutme Warehouse prevents overselling: every sales order is checked against the stock on hand before it can be saved, so the system never records a sale for a quantity that is not in the warehouse. Purchases, sales orders, sales returns and purchase returns all update the balance automatically, so the figure the check uses is always current.

Does Cutme Warehouse support barcodes and QR codes?

Cutme Warehouse gives every product a Code 128 barcode and a QR code that you can print and scan. Each product also keeps a full movement history with a running balance, so you can trace every purchase, sale, return and stock-count adjustment that changed its quantity.

How do stock counts work in Cutme Warehouse?

In Cutme Warehouse you enter the quantities you physically counted, and the stock adjustment tool compares them with the system quantities, posts the differences and keeps a history of every count, so each adjustment can be traced to the count that caused it. A step-by-step stock count procedure is in the Cutme guides.

Which reports does Cutme Warehouse include?

Cutme Warehouse includes reports for low stock (you type the threshold when you run it), dead stock, fastest-moving products, most active customers and suppliers, tax and discount totals, and purchases, sales and returns by period. A dashboard charts monthly sales against purchases and inventory value by category, and the product list exports to CSV or Excel (XLSX).

Can Cutme Warehouse track stock in several warehouses or branches?

Cutme Warehouse does not currently track stock across several warehouses or branches: it keeps one stock location per product, with no separate warehouses, batches or lots. It suits a company that runs its stock from one place; a company that holds stock in several locations should talk to the Cutme team before subscribing.

Does Cutme Warehouse support Egyptian e-invoicing (ETA)?

Cutme Warehouse sends sales orders to the Egyptian Tax Authority as e-invoices and sales returns as credit notes, then tracks each document's ETA status and allows cancellation within the ETA window. It is switched off by default: each company sets it up with its own ETA credentials, item codes and e-seal. Cutme does not issue ETA e-receipts for point-of-sale sales.

Is there a mobile app or an API?

Cutme Warehouse has a token-based REST API for products, stock, purchases and sales, and its companion mobile app is built on that same API. The API belongs to Warehouse only: Cutme Accounting, CRM and HR do not currently offer a public API and are used through the browser, which adapts to phone screens.

What should you know about Cutme CRM Software?

Every customer, lead and opportunity in one place

What does Cutme CRM do?

Cutme CRM keeps a company's leads, customers and contacts in one system and tracks every sales opportunity through a visual pipeline. Opportunities move between stages by drag and drop, follow-ups are recorded as activities, and reports show how the pipeline is performing, so no prospect is forgotten between one call and the next.

Can a lead be converted into a customer?

Cutme CRM converts a lead into a customer with a single action, without retyping anything; until then the lead holds the prospect's details. The customer then keeps its contacts and sales opportunities together in one place, and its status can be updated as the relationship develops.

How do follow-ups work in Cutme CRM?

Follow-ups in Cutme CRM are recorded as activities. The team sees open activities in one list, marks each one complete when it is done, and can reopen it if more work turns out to be needed, so every follow-up that was promised to a customer stays visible until someone actually closes it.

How does the sales pipeline work?

In Cutme CRM each sales opportunity sits in a stage of a pipeline and moves to the next stage by drag and drop on a board. The system records the history of every stage change, shows the pipeline value per stage, and lets you set up your own pipelines, stages and tags to match how your team sells.

How are customers, companies and contacts organised?

Cutme CRM shows customers as a list or as a drag-and-drop board grouped by status, so moving a customer to a new status is one drag. Companies are kept together with the contacts who work at them, and each customer keeps its own contacts and sales opportunities, so you know who you deal with inside every account.

Which sales reports does Cutme CRM give?

Cutme CRM gives a KPI dashboard plus reports on lead sources and conversion, leads by status, pipeline value by stage, won, lost and open deals, and each salesperson's performance. Every report is built from the leads, opportunities and activities your team records, so the figures update as soon as the work is entered.

Does Cutme CRM send reminders?

Cutme CRM does not send automatic reminders or notifications. Follow-ups are recorded as activities in a shared list that stays open until someone marks each one done, so the open-activities list is the team's to-do view. A finished activity can be reopened if the customer needs more work.

Does CRM share customers with Cutme Accounting or Warehouse?

Cutme CRM keeps its own customer list and does not share customers with Cutme Accounting or Warehouse. Each Cutme service has its own subscription and its own company database, so a customer added in CRM is not created in the other systems. You sign in to all of them with the same login and switch between them from your dashboard.

What does a CRM plan include?

Every CRM plan includes unlimited users and all CRM features, for 6 or 12 months; the 12-month plan costs less per month. It starts with a 14-day free trial without a credit card, and prices on the plans page are in Egyptian pounds. At today's exchange rate, the 12-month plan works out to about 464 EGP a month.

What should you know about Cutme HR Software?

Employees, attendance, leave and payroll in one place

What does Cutme HR do?

Cutme HR keeps every employee record in one place: personal and job details, identifiers such as the national ID stored encrypted, an effective-dated employment history, employee documents with expiry dates, the company structure of branches, departments and positions, attendance and shifts, leave requests with approvals, a monthly payroll linked to attendance, employee self-service, HR reports, and an audit log of every change.

Are national ID numbers stored securely in Cutme HR?

Cutme HR validates the Egyptian national ID when it is entered and stores it encrypted, keeping a one-way hash for duplicate detection rather than the number in clear text. Sensitive identifiers are excluded from audit-log entries, and employee documents are kept in private storage rather than a public folder.

Does Cutme HR keep an employee's transfers and promotions over time?

Cutme HR records employment history as dated events rather than overwriting the current record, so a transfer, promotion, change of title or salary, or change of status is saved with the date it takes effect. The employee file therefore shows both what applies today and what applied before it.

Does Cutme HR warn me before an employee document expires?

Cutme HR stores a validity date with each employee document and lists the ones that are expiring, so a residency permit, licence or contract is renewed before it lapses rather than afterwards. Documents are held in private storage, opened through an audited download, and can be marked as verified once checked.

Does Cutme HR include payroll?

Cutme HR includes a monthly payroll built from basic salary, allowances and deductions, minus absences, unpaid leave and lateness, plus overtime from attendance, with salary advances repaid in instalments. Each payroll is approved by someone other than its preparer and produces payslips and a CSV export. Cutme HR payroll does not calculate social insurance or income tax and does not post to the ledger; Cutme Accounting has its own ledger-posting payroll.

Does Cutme HR track attendance?

Cutme HR tracks attendance against shifts that have start and end times, work days and a grace period, and calculates lateness and overtime from each check-in and check-out. Attendance can be entered by hand, imported from a fingerprint device's CSV export, or recorded by employees clocking in from the browser, and closing a day marks anyone missing as absent or on approved leave.

How do leave requests and approvals work in Cutme HR?

In Cutme HR, employees request leave themselves or HR records it for them. Each leave type has its own yearly or monthly-accrual balance and needs one approval (the line manager) or two (line manager, then HR). The balance is checked when the request is made and deducted when it is approved, and approved days appear in attendance and payroll.

How is the organisation structure set up in Cutme HR?

Cutme HR holds companies, branches, departments, positions, job grades and cost centres, so each employee is attached to a real structure rather than a flat list. A branch or department is defined once and then selected when an employee, position or document is recorded.

Who can see employee data in Cutme HR, and is it audited?

Access inside Cutme HR is granted by role, through permissions such as viewing or managing employee records, documents and the organisation setup. Every change is written to an audit log showing who made it and when, and sensitive identifiers are deliberately excluded from that log.

What does a Cutme HR plan include?

Every Cutme HR plan includes unlimited users and all HR features, for 6 or 12 months, with the 12-month plan costing less per month. It starts with a 14-day free trial without a credit card, and prices on the plans page are in Egyptian pounds. At today's exchange rate, the 12-month plan works out to about 371 EGP a month.
